What we need from you
Less Than You'd Expect
You don't need a drawing, a takeoff of your own or a finished design. If you know roughly how big the deck is, that's enough for us to start.
The size
Width and length. If it is an odd shape, give us the run lengths and we will work from those.
Colour and joist spacing
If the frame is already up, tell us what it is framed at. If not, we will talk it through.
Stairs, railings, a deadline
Anything you already know. Anything you don't, we will ask about when we call.

Why plastic lumber
Won't Rot. Won't Splinter. Never Needs Sealing.

- Solid HDPE absorbs nothing, so there is no swelling, no decay and no soft ends after a wet spring.
- Never splinters
- Bare feet, bare hands and livestock are all fine with it, in year one and in year twenty.
- Never needs sealing
- No sanding, staining or annual refinish. Wash it when it's dirty and that's the whole schedule.
- Cuts like wood
- Circular saw, mitre saw, ordinary drill. No special blades and no sealing of cut ends.
Board colours
The Colour Runs All the Way Through
No coating, no stain, nothing to wear through. A scratch is the same colour as the face, and a saw cut needs no edge treatment, because the colour is the material.
Grey
The house colour, and the one the company is named for. Blend enough mixed-colour plastic and grey is what you get.
Light grey
Runs cooler underfoot than the darker board, which matters on a south-facing deck in July.
Brown
For builds that want to read closer to timber, with nothing to re-stain.
The colour runs through the board, so a saw cut or a scrape is the same colour as the face. Order the whole deck as one package and it comes off one run.

What do you need from me to quote a deck?
The dimensions, and the colour if you have a preference. A sketch on the back of an invoice is enough. If the deck is an odd shape, give us the run lengths and we will work from those.
How long does a quote take?
Usually back with you the next business day. If it lands mid-week and the deck is straightforward, often sooner.
Do you build the deck as well?
No. We supply the material. We sell to the builder doing the work, or to the homeowner who has a builder lined up. If you need a name in your area, ask and we will tell you who has bought from us.
Does the deck need any maintenance?
Wash it when it is dirty. There is nothing to sand, stain or seal. The colour runs through the board, so there is no finish to wear off.
Can I pick the material up, or do you deliver?
Pickup is from Lacombe in Alberta or Georgina in Ontario. Ask about delivery to your site when you send the dimensions and we will price it with the package.
Is it more expensive than treated lumber?
On the invoice, yes. The argument for it is what happens after: no re-staining, no board replacement, and no rot in the wet spots. Ask us to price your deck and compare it against what you would spend keeping a timber one going.
